H.R. 3226

Yesterday Congressman John Sullivan of Oklahoma called on Congress to reign in the unprecedented appointment of Czars in the Obama administration by subjecting any future appointments to further Congressional oversight. "At least 30 unelected, unaccountable Czars currently work for the Obama Administration, posing a threat to our system of checks and balances in government" he said. Congressman Sullivan is a cosponsor of H.R. 3226, the Czar Accountability and Reform (CZAR) Act of 2009, legislation which would require any additional czar appointments to be confirmed by the United States Senate.

What about the thirty-something Czars already appointed??
