As goes Utah, there goes the nation?

Yesterday the US Senate voted to confirm Cass Sunstein as Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Management and Budget (Regulatory Czar).
In recent weeks the voting was blocked and the case was made of the far-left agenda of "Mr." Sunstein.
Yesterday the vote fell almost along party lines, which isn't surprising. The surprise is WHO did cross the line.
The vote was 57 - 40 in favor of confirming Sunstein.

Democrats who voted "NAY" were:
Begick, AK
Lincoln, AR
Pryor, AR
Nelson, NE
Webb, VA

Republicans who voted "YEA" were:
Lugar, IN
Collins, ME
Snowe, ME
Voinovich, OH
Bennett, UT
Hatch, UT

Okay, we understand Lugar. We understand Maine. Utah???????
Not exactly known as a "progressive", "liberal" state????

To all Conservatives and Republicans who fill the state of Utah. LOOK!!!
Wake UP! Your state may also become one of the western liberal dwellings!
Are we in a downward spiral here?

Thank you to the following states who stood up for common sense, conservative principles.

AL, AK, AZ, AR, GA, ID, KS, KY, MS, NE, OK, SC, TN, TX and WY.

  1. Appreciate your thoughts! I think you should send your UT post to some prominent UT newspapers' editorial pages! They might be "sleeping" out there! (Candy is posting this!)
